About Lexi Heuser
I was raised on a ranch in a tiny cow town in Colorado where I now live with my wonderful husband and all of our critters. I fell in love with reading in second grade. I devoured any book I could get my hands on no matter the genre, but I’ve always had a soft spot for fantasy worlds where you really can slay the dragon, or make a pet out of it, as the case may be.
However, one of my biggest frustrations as a reader was becoming invested in a book only to find a spicy scene or lots of explicit language that I personally was not comfortable reading.
I decided to start writing the kinds of books that I wanted to read: adventurous, fast-paced, novels with real struggles that don’t corrupt innocence. Novels that can be recommended to teen and adult readers alike with no reservations.
Now I get to live my dream of being an author and craft fun adventures with sassy animal sidekicks.
When I’m not busy writing, you’ll find me adventuring with my own animal sidekicks or kicking back in comfy sweatpants watching old John Wayne movies.
